[They're milling out of the meeting in the lounge, which takes them by the weapons room, and that means Makima has a thought. She does have a lot of thoughts about Akane, though she often keeps them to herself.]

[Makima's hands don't move, robbing Akane of one of the few variations in her expressions.]

It's just that you've been sleeping in the unlocked room for some time, and I'm wondering if that's really safe.

I don't know. After all, staying in a locked room hasn't really... protected anyone else.

I guess that's true, but... if I try to use a weapon that I don't really know how to use, especially if I'm half asleep, it... seems like that would probably get one of us killed.
