Hubert's List is posted on Monday. Makima-san's Monday Movie Marathon (Gai, Alastor, Hubert, Brain, Kira)

Makima's Enemy: "Sister". She's casual about herself last eating breakfast salad and Brain living off sugared liquor. As they debate butchering a lamb and the Gimme's pronoun, Akane is struck by a vision during which she switches place with someone who highlights Zack as suspicious. Makima proposes that he be isolated, which Alastor and Roland oppose, Hermes defending him as well.

Kira arrives; why this; Zero late; Hubert and Hermes; Orb A, Orb B; Timeline; Makima proposes a shoe check; she and Kira are clean. Makima reveals the amputation in a wound check.

In light of this, Makima asks Zero a question. Hubert was the replacement fabricator. Aoi, meanwhile, is so aloof because he was in a time loop. Makima teases Hubert about Brain, recommends Roland as the executioner, and shields Akane as Aoi dies suspended in thorns.

Afterparty

Unexpectedly the three deaths bring the total X passes to fifteen. Makima favors opening the door. However, Aoi's letter confirms that Alastor made a binding blood oath as a demon. Thus, Makima realizes that Eva would not have taken a Chainsaw Man universe devil's ability to make a contract.

Week 6

Hubert is revived; by Monday morning, in Private Conversation #11 Makima impresses upon Kira the gravity of the situation. Makima and Kira at Alastor's meeting. On Tuesday Roland declares everyone Paladins. On Wednesday the X-door opens.

Investigation

They pass the sheep to enter the strange passage and reunite with Brain, Kaito, Moriarty, and Val. Investigators split into groups that include Makima, Kira, and Ritsu. Makima's findings in area 5 and area 6 include weapons but primarily consist of a tape recorder. She also crashes the improv thread.

Trial

Makima starts an evidence pile. They speculate about the Olympians and gods in the house. In addition to the photographs, the Rochester NY locations, questioning Delta, and the Incubators, they vote to give Zack the potion, which turns him into Zagreus (who is hot but don't worry, Kira is hotter). Makima shows the tape recorder of "the baby".

They prepare for the fight when the witch is summoned, and Makima launches a taunt once again with the tape recorder. Eva Sparda arrives, with Makima and Kira indignant about seemingly minor deprivations during the game. Though exorcism isn't an option, Makima and Alastor converge on the idea of breaking the contract by breaking her heart, which leads to Kira drawing a picture that is adequate, OKAY. There is a pregnant pause during Akane's final rally.

Makima gets the hell onto Kira's motorcycle, confirms Eva's "tree devil heart" is broken, and learns of Eva's magic reversing time to before the game and hugs Kira about the restoration of their powers as all seven of the others who were alive pray for the dead to come back. The tree releases monsters for Makima to help Val fight with a mace, Brain with a whip, herself with a hurricane of weapons—and Eva heals injuries as well, to the surprise of Kira and his girlfriend. In the end, it's done. They lose the bracelets and see the open road.

Epilogue

Hermes; Akane; self with Zack and Brain; weapon; Hubert; into the sunset with Kira.
